I’ve worked with Andy Chayer at Maple Shade studios with 3 different bands over the last 6 years.

Aside from very fair pricing, Andy is a very personable and knowledgeable engineer, and his abilities have grown incredibly in that time. An important attribute that compliments Andy’s production and engineering is his experience as a performing musician himself.  He always provides a positive atmosphere, and offers great input.

Recording with Andy is like having Robert Lang Studios hidden in your living room. The quality of the mixes that Andy crafted when we recorded our EP, Shot In The Dark, were sharp as a knife, and the whole time we felt right at home.

Since then, we've been able to use our EP to get booked in venues such as The Crocodile, appear on the video broadcast show Plastic Jet Airline, get airplay on local radio, and even peak the interest of label / management group Mack 9.

Andy's got immense brains, a big heart, and will get you what you need without costing you an arm and a leg.

Before working with Andy, we were already very close friends. We chose to work with him professionally because he has such a genuine love for music production, and we knew our songs would be in good hands.

Andy gives you the chance to be yourself and enter your element as an artist. He will do whatever it takes for the artist's vision to be realized. On top of that, he is extremely flexible and easy going while scheduling time to record, however after this review goes viral, you might have to wait in line for years to get a chance to work with him.

Andy was everything a great producer should be. He pushed us all to get the best possible takes, offering direction, and constructive criticism, and was completely dedicated to making our project sound the best it could. His honesty and willingness to commit himself created a product that exceeded our wildest dreams.

I don't want to appear biased, because I am in a band with the guy, but Andy is a fantastic engineer and producer. I can attest first hand to his ability to collaborate without stepping on toes, or impeding vision. His studio offers the perfect vibe to stay productive, and also stay creative, and his attitude and working style completely reinforces that.

Andy Chayer and his studio have been a major part of my time as a recording musician.

I've been working with him since 2011, when Leadership by Assault recorded our EP "A Little Less Than Honest".  We were able to track seven songs in less than three days, at a quality that allowed us to pursue opportunities like offering songs for download in Rock Band, and licensing out singles to video producers who helped us build a fanbase through their work. 

The recording environment is comfortable and friendly, and you really can't find a better producer with this kind of accessibility to independent artists in the area.
